The role involves supporting Year 7 and Year 8 students within English and Humanities lessons, helping pupils develop confidence and progress academically.

This is a long-term opportunity starting ASAP, with the potential to continue for the full academic year.

📚 Key Responsibilities

* Supporting teachers in Year 7 and Year 8 English and Humanities lessons

* Providing 1:1 and small group academic support

* Helping students develop literacy, reading, and comprehension skills

* Supporting classroom behaviour management

* Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons

* Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and resources

👩‍🏫 Ideal Candidate

* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or School Support Worker

* Passionate about supporting students in English and Humanities subjects

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

* Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic

✔ Requirements

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Legal right to work in the UK

* Able to commute to Haringey, North London

* Professional references covering recent employment
