School First Aid Officer
Our client, a leading school in Newquay is looking for a trained first aider for the next 2 weeks covering sickness.
Starting tomorrow - Tuesday 24th February 2026
Monday to Friday 8.30am- 3pm
Paying £13.75 hour, weekly, every Friday + Holiday Pay
The Role in brief will undertake to:- Provide on-site first aid support to secondary school pupils
- Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
- Respond to incidents across classrooms, playground, and PE
- Administer prescribed medication in line with school policy
- Complete accident/incident reports and liaise with parents/carers
- Support pupils with additional needs (SEN experience beneficial)
- Work independently and confidently within safeguarding guidelines
- Valid Level 3 First Aid qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children within a school, healthcare, TA, support work
- Calm, professional and able to make clear decisions under pressure
- Enhanced DBS covering Childs Workforce
- Safeguarding Children Certificate
