Head of Drama
Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the Drama Department.
- Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, leading by example.
- Play a pivotal role in a well‑resourced and flourishing Drama Department.
- Enhance the girls’ education through significant impact on the success of the school.
- Oversee the department’s full co‑curricular programme of clubs, events and whole‑school performances, including plays, musical productions, Tech Tastic backstage theatre club and the annual Inter‑House Drama competition.
- Significant successful experience as a Drama teacher, or as a Second in Department or Head of Department.
- Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of excellence at GCSE and A level.
- A commitment to the welfare of students and a willingness to undergo child‑protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
