If so, this part‑time Music Teacher position in Kensal Rise (Brent) could be the right fit.

Teaching Environment

This 2‑form entry primary school places real value on music within the curriculum. You'll be joining a supportive PPA team who work collaboratively to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of music across the school.

  • Preparing classes for assemblies, concerts or school events
  • Maintaining a positive, well‑managed classroom environment
  • Working closely with the PPA team and wider staff to ensure consistency and high standards
Essential Requirements
  • Experience teaching whole‑class music in UK primary schools (not just peripatetic or small‑group teaching)
  • A DBS on the Update Service
  • Strong classroom management and confident delivery across KS1 and KS2
  • A genuine passion for music education and inspiring young learners
  • QTS is welcome but not essential with strong whole‑class experience
Contract & Pay

  • Long‑term pay aligned with the Main Teacher Pay Scale or Unqualified Teacher Scale, depending on QTS

This role suits a confident and enthusiastic Music Teacher who enjoys teaching across the whole school and wants to contribute to a vibrant, creative curriculum. It offers a stable, long‑term pathway within a supportive Kensal Rise setting.
