A welcoming and faith-centred Catholic primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join the team as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and Religious Education, and who would be willing to join the school's RE Lead Team.

Aboutthe Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Deliver high-quality Religious Education in line with Catholic teachings and diocesan guidance
- Support the development and monitoring of RE across the school as part of the RE Lead Team
- Contribute to the Catholic life and mission of the school
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure all children reach their potential
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, senior leaders, and the parish community
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including liturgies, collective worship, and school events
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Experience leading or supporting Religious Education in a Catholic school - highly desirable
- Understanding that RE in a Catholic school differs significantly from non-Catholic settings
- Willingness to undertake (or already hold) the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS)
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
- High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A supportive and faith-driven leadership team
- A strong Catholic ethos at the heart of school life
- Opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the school's spiritual and academic development
- Ongoing CPD and support with CCRS (where applicable)
