Design & Technology Teacher – Islington – MPS/UPS (Inner London)

A well‑resourced and forward‑thinking secondary school in the London Borough of Islington is seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis. The role is available for an immediate start or from September and will be paid on the Inner London MPS/UPS scale.

• Deliver high‑quality DT lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan engaging schemes of work and ensure students develop strong practical, technical and evaluative skills.
• Maintain strong classroom management, fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment.
• Inspire students of all abilities and encourage their enthusiasm for DT.

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and have a strong understanding of the current DT curriculum.
• Experience teaching exam classes at KS4 is highly desirable.
