Job Title

Male SEN Teaching Assistant – Greenwich – Full time – Starting ASAP

Remedy Education is working with a SEN secondary school in Greenwich to recruit a male Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 11‑18 on a 1:1 basis and in intervention groups. The role will start September 2023 and continue through the end of the academic year.

• Full time, Monday to Friday 8.45 am – 3.30 pm (or 8.30 am – 4 pm as specified)
• PMLD and ASD support
• Experience with SEN required
• Salary: £105 – £115 per day

• Work 1:1 with pupils with ASD and PMLD, supporting learning and communication
• Assist with teaching and learning activities, adapting materials and strategies as needed
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement and a supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with the teaching staff and specialist teams to deliver inclusive education

• Experience working with children with SEN (PMLD, ASD or other needs)
• Adaptability, positivity, and the ability to communicate effectively in a learning context
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting pupils’ progress
