Location: Greater London

  • Deliver a broad, engaging PE curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Support pupils’ physical development, from early motor skills to more specialist Games teaching.
  • Inspire confidence, teamwork, wellbeing and positive attitudes to sport.
Safeguarding
  • Uphold all safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Report concerns promptly and appropriately and engage fully in required training.
Essential Skills and Qualities
  • Strong understanding of physical development from Early Years to KS2.
  • Ability to deliver creative, inclusive and engaging PE lessons.
  • Confident teaching additional core subjects.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour‑management skills.
  • Warm, positive, motivating approach to teaching.
  • Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
  • Adaptable, collaborative and with a good sense of humour.
Teaching and Learning
  • Teach inclusive, developmental PE lessons across Pre‑School to Year 6.
  • Develop pupils’ coordination, agility, balance, teamwork and sport‑specific skills.
  • Teach additional subjects (Maths/English) as required.
  • Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively.
Sport and Enrichment
  • Lead and manage school sports events, fixtures and Sports Day.
  • Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and teams.
  • Drive the school minibus to fixtures (training provided if required).
  • Work collaboratively to ensure PE supports wider academic and developmental goals.
  • Help refine and develop a progressive, whole‑school PE curriculum.
  • Maintain PE equipment and resources to a high standard.
Pastoral
  • Promote wellbeing, positive behaviour and resilience.
  • Contribute actively to the wider life, values and culture of the school.
