Computing Lecturer - Full Time (Temporary)

£40 per hour

A leading college in North London is seeking a passionate and experienced Computing Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and support learners across a range of computing programmes in a well-established and supportive further education setting.

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Computing

• Teach across Level 2-Level 5 programmes (e.g. BTEC, A-Level equivalent, or Access to HE)

• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials

• Assess, track, and support student progress

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental meetings

• Programming (Python, Java, C# or similar)

• Cyber Security

• Networking

• Database Development

• Web Development

• IT Systems & Support

• A relevant degree in Computing or related field

• Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one

• Experience teaching in Further Education or Higher Education

• Strong industry knowledge and up-to-date technical skills

• A passion for student achievement and inclusive learning

• £40 per hour

• Full-time hours

This role is to start as soon as possible and will run on an ongoing temporary basis.
