Health and Social Care Teacher About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that cover a variety of topics, including health, well-being, and social care practices on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed for success in this vital sector.
This position offers the opportunity to teach a diverse and dynamic curriculum, support students' academic and personal development, and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students. Create a supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Plan, assess, and provide feedback to students, helping them achieve their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental meetings. Keep up-to-date with developments in health and social care, bringing real-world insights into the classroom.
About You The ideal candidate will have: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent). Previous teaching experience in Health and Social Care or a related field. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities. A passion for the subject and a commitment to continuous professional development. A background in health and social care practice is desirable but not essential.
