Overview
The role of EHCP Coordinator involves managing and overseeing the EHCP process for children and young people with special educational needs. This includes conducting assessments, coordinating with educational professionals, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will be responsible for writing and reviewing EHCPs, arranging annual reviews, and liaising with families, schools, and other agencies to support the implementation of educational plans.
The role requires you to stay updated on policies and legislation relevant to EHCPs and provide guidance and advice to families and colleagues as needed.

You have a deep understanding of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process and make effective decisions that prioritize the needs and aspirations of the individuals you support. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to work collaboratively with families, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties involved are informed and engaged in the EHCP process.
