Overview
Phonics Teaching Assistant in Ealing. Are you confident delivering phonics and passionate about helping children build strong foundations in reading?
A welcoming primary school in Ealing is looking for a full-time Phonics Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This long-term role is ideal for someone with experience supporting early reading and delivering phonics interventions in EYFS or Key Stage 1. The school is committed to early literacy and is looking for someone who understands the importance of systematic phonics instruction and can make learning fun, engaging, and effective.
Responsibilities- Work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted phonics support both 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils develop their vocabulary, improve fluency, and build confidence in their reading and writing.
- Experience supporting early reading and delivering phonics interventions in EYFS or Key Stage 1.
- Experience with phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics, or Little Wandle.
- Ability to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
