ZEST Education are working with a highly regarded independent school in Camden to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Teacher for a full-time, permanent position (term time only).
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who is committed to delivering high-quality education within a nurturing, well-resourced nursery setting. The role is ideal for a teacher who values play-based learning, strong relationships, and outstanding EYFS practice.
The RoleAs Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for children aged 2-4, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with a supportive team to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS lessons and activities
- Support children's learning and development through play-based and child-led approaches
- Observe, assess and track progress in line with EYFS requirements
- Create a warm, structured and engaging classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing progress and feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the nursery
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS qualification
- Proven experience teaching within an EYFS or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
- Enthusiastic, creative and child-centred approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
- Permanent, full-time position
- Term time only
- Hours are 8am-4pm
