About the Role

As a Nursery Teacher, you will plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging EYFS curriculum that nurtures curiosity, independence, and strong foundations in early literacy, numeracy, and personal development. You will create a warm, purposeful learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore. Through high‑quality observation and assessment, you will track progress, inform next steps, and maintain accurate learning journals.

Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will contribute to a cohesive and high‑quality Early Years provision that reflects the school’s ethos, high standards, and commitment to exceptional pastoral care.

This is a permanent, full‑time position with a proposed September 2026 start date. There is a possibility of starting in April 2026.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a caring, committed and skilled Early Years practitioner who can contribute positively to our nurturing and high‑achieving environment. You will be someone who brings strong professional knowledge, a passion for Early Years education, and the ability to support every child’s learning and wellbeing.

Essential Qualities and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate Early Years teaching qualification
  • Secure and up‑to‑date knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Evidence of effective teaching that leads to strong pupil progress
  • A strong understanding of observation, assessment, and planning
  • High standards of professionalism, organisation, and communication
  • A secure understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to children’s welfare
