About the School
This is a welcoming specialist SEN school supporting students with a variety of additional needs, including SEMH, and learning difficulties. The school focuses on helping students build confidence, independence, and important life skills in a supportive and structured environment.

The leadership team is approachable and genuinely supportive, providing a positive environment where staff can thrive. There are excellent opportunities for training and development, allowing Teaching Assistants to grow and progress within the school. We’ve partnered with this school for several years, making many successful placements and helping the school continue to grow.

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in their daily learning and personal development. You will help students engage in lessons, activities, and the wider school environment, making a real difference to their experience at school.

You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning space.

Key Responsibilities

* Support students on a one-to-one or small-group basis in line with their individual learning plans

* Help teachers deliver engaging and adaptable lessons

* Encourage communication, independence, and positive learning habits

* Support students with daily routines, emotional regulation, and participation in activities

* Provide personal care support when required (training provided)

* Prepare resources and help keep classrooms organised

* Observe and give feedback on student progress

* Support transitions, break times, and school activities

* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

* Interest in SEN and helping students achieve their potential

* Must have an up-to-date DBS
