CPD Programme Facilitator; x2

A large public sector organisation is currently recruiting 2 experienced CPD Programme Facilitators on a permanent basis. These newly created posts are to elevate the quality, consistency, and impact of teaching and learning across it’s Leadership Academy.

The role will be based in central London and, you will also receive a significant civil service pension with 28.97% contribution by the employer annually as part of your package. Your annual leave will be 28 days + bank holidays rising to 33 day after 5 years of service.

• Monitoring and improving the quality of teaching and learning across the Leadership Academy.
• Designing, delivering, and leading Train the Trainer programmes for facilitators and trainers.
• Conducting lesson observations, learning walks, teaching audits, and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted, QAA and other regulatory standards across all leadership programmes.
• Leading quality governance, continuous improvement, and quality assurance processes.
• Analysing teaching data and producing high‑quality reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Supporting curriculum development, assessment strategies, and pedagogical excellence.
• Coaching and mentoring facilitators to upskill teaching practice and strengthen delivery capability.
• Managing contractors and engaging with external bodies to embed best practice and innovation.
• Leading self‑assessment, audit preparation, and quality improvement planning across the academy.

You are confident, collaborative, and passionate about delivering excellent learning experiences. You bring a strong background in teaching, training, staff development or coaching, with the ability to influence and embed high‑quality practice across a diverse, multi‑site learning environment.

• Strong understanding of quality assurance in education, including Ofsted, QAA, and regulatory frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, teaching methodology, and curriculum development.
• Awareness of digital learning tools and innovative training methods.

• Proven ability to deliver Train the Trainer programmes and facilitate high‑quality learning.
• Advanced skills in quality assurance, improvement, and governance.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and produce actionable insight.

• Significant experience improving teaching and learning within educational or adult‑learning environments.
• Experience delivering Train the Trainer programmes and facilitating staff development.
• Experience conducting teaching audits and implementing improvement strategies.
• Experience managing multi‑site education or training programmes.

• Degree‑level education in Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• L4 IQA or recognised quality assurance qualification.
• Coaching & Mentoring qualifications (Level 3–5).
• Membership of professional bodies such as CIPD, CMI or IoL.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development is expected.
