MFL Teacher required

Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Language Teacher (MFL Teacher) seeking a permanent role as soon as possible? A secondary school situated in Hackney is looking to appoint a new MFL Teacher to cover a maternity position on a fixed-term contract. Ideally, they would like the applicant to have experience in teaching Spanish or French, but other languages may be considered.

Applications are welcome from both NQTs and experienced MFL Teachers.

• Assisting in the department with preparing resources and arranging trips to support studies
• Meeting with pupils' parents/carers to discuss academic progress at parents' evenings or any ECHP plans

• A QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong behaviour management skills
• An enhanced DBS that is on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS
• Strong ability in planning and preparing your own lessons in accordance with the curriculum
• Ability to speak at least two languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian)
