Home Ownership - Level 3 Business Administrator
Length: up to 16 months
Entry requirement:
Candidates must have an English and Mathematics GCSE at grade 4 or higher or equivalent. You will be asked to provide evidence of Maths and English certificates.
Working Week:
Full time, 36 hours per week including training.
Salary: £25,996 pa
We are excited to offer a unique apprenticeship opportunity within our Home Ownership Services department. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to embark on a career in leasehold property management and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our residents and leaseholders.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, performance driven, innovative individual to join our team, which currently manages approximately 5,000 leasehold and shared ownership properties across the borough. This role is to provide administrative support under supervision across the Home Ownership Service, working across all teams enabling you to gain an understanding of the core functions of the service. This position offers an exciting career development opportunity in the growing field of leasehold management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Home Ownership team.
- Assist in the management of leasehold and shared ownership properties.
- Engage in service charge calculations and income collection processes.
- Support the ‘Right to Buy’ process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various teams to gain a holistic understanding of the service’s core functions.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Interest in property management and real estate services.
- Basic understanding of Right to Buy and Leasehold legislation preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive and innovative approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced setting.
- Diversity and multilingual speakers who would strengthen our service offer to local communities.
- Apprenticeships are open to 16 and over and not in full‑time education.
- Dedication to learning, gaining new skills and an interest in supporting Enfield Council.
- Knowledge of IT/technical skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues at all seniority levels.
