Teaching Assistant - Reception Class

Overview

We are working with a lovely primary school in Downham, Bromley, who’s looking for a teaching assistant to join their school as soon as possible. The position is working in reception class, and the successful candidate will be employed on a long‑term basis working 5 days per week until the end of the academic year, (at least).

• Located in Downham, with on-site parking
• Mainstream primary school, 2-form entry
• Hours:
  
  8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday
• Working across reception class
• General teaching assistant duties, group work & 1:1 support
• Start date:
  
  As soon as possible / Immediately
• Pay rate: £105 - £120 per day, weekly pay
• The school is looking to arrange paid trial days for interested candidates; the position starts immediately if all goes well

• Must have an enhanced DBS (or willingness to process a new one)
• Experience working in education / in schools / with children is essential
• Passion for working in schools and helping all children achieve their full potential
• Ability to commit to a full-time role working 5 days per week
