We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a small, welcoming nursery setting based in Southwark.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Early Years Educator with SEN experience who is confident leading a small team and able to deputise in the absence of the Nursery Manager. The nursery provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on high-quality early years provision.
Salary: £28,000 – £32,500 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
You will be:
* Deputising for the Nursery Manager when required and supporting the day-to-day management of the setting
* Leading and supporting a small team of Early Years practitioners
* Acting as SENCO, supporting children with additional needs and working closely with staff and external professionals
* Supporting safeguarding procedures and contributing to DSL responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework
* Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
We are looking for someone who is experienced, confident, and passionate about Early Years and SEN provision. The successful candidate will be a qualified Early Years Educator with experience in a leadership or deputy role within a nursery setting.
Requirements:
* Relevant Early Years qualifications
* Paediatric First Aid certification
* SEN and DSL experience
* Experience leading or supervising staff
