The Role

As an ECT Primary Teacher (KS1), you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Establish clear, consistent routines and maintain positive behaviour management
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment
Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Work closely with KS1 colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) achieved by September 2026
An ECT with a strong interest in KS1
Secure understanding of phonics, early reading, and KS1 assessment
High expectations for behaviour, learning, and pupil progress
A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach
