About the Role

Teach Now is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a part-time, temporary position starting in February 2026.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys teaching in Upper or Lower KS2 and is looking for a flexible opportunity within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be joining a school that places strong emphasis on high expectations, positive behaviour, and pupil progress, while also recognising the importance of staff wellbeing.

The school serves a diverse local community and is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral systems, and commitment to closing attainment gaps. You will be well supported by an experienced leadership team, parallel class teachers, and established planning frameworks aligned with the National Curriculum.

This role would suit a teacher who is adaptable, organised, and confident in delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with EAL and SEND.

Applicants Should:

· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Have a secure understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum

· Be confident planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

· Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress

· Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

· Be reflective, resilient, and passionate about primary education

· Be able to commit reliably to the agreed working pattern and duration
