About the Role

Teach Now is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the London Borough of Brent to recruit a Reception Teacher for a full-time, temporary position starting in March 2026.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team that places strong emphasis on learning through play, early language development, and building strong foundations for lifelong learning. The school has a clear EYFS vision, well-established routines, and a child-centred approach that supports both pupils and staff.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework, supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

This role would suit an enthusiastic and reflective EYFS practitioner who is confident with early phonics, continuous provision, and observation-based assessment.

Applicants Should:

· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Have experience teaching in Reception or EYFS

· Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework

· Be confident with early phonics, language development, and early maths

· Use observation and assessment to inform next steps in learning

· Create a nurturing, engaging, and well-organised learning environment

· Work effectively as part of a collaborative EYFS team
