Position: Sydenham School - Cover Supervisor
Location: Greater London

Overview

Cover Supervisor - start ASAP

Mon-Fri - 32.5 hours per week - Hours 8.15am to 3:45pm - Term time + INSET (39 weeks)

Salary - SC4 (pts 8-10): £32,442 - £33,384 pa

pro rata actual starting salary £26,025 pa

Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during periods of teacher absence, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning and that the classroom environment is calm, purposeful, and well managed.
  • You will work with pupils across all age groups and ability ranges, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and supporting students as they complete their work.
  • This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop strong classroom management skills and gain insight into effective teaching practice.
