Teacher Active is recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive primary school in Angel, Islington for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher
. This school is committed to providing outstanding provision for pupils with additional needs and has high expectations for both progress and wellbeing.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teacher who is confident in delivering tailored, high-quality teaching and making a meaningful difference to pupils with diverse learning needs.

• Planning and delivering individualised and small-group teaching for pupils with SEND
• Adapting the curriculum to meet a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs
• Writing, reviewing, and contributing to EHCP targets and support plans
• Working closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent, effective provision
• Monitoring progress and using assessment to inform next steps
• Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and external professionals

• Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher or within an SEN provision
• Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive practice
• Excellent behaviour management and a nurturing, patient approach
• High expectations for pupil progress and achievement
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and equality
