English Lecturer
Location: Supportive further education college in London

Duration: A few weeks initially – potential for extension
Schedule: Thursdays

Session times (example timetable): 09:00 – 10:45 GCSE English; 13:15 – 14:45 Level 1 English; 13:15 – 14:45 GCSE English. Additional Friday slots may include Level 1 English and GCSE English sessions as required by the college schedule.

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive sessions in GCSE and Level 1 English
• Support student progress with tailored teaching and effective feedback
• Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to meet learner needs

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching GCSE and Level 1 English
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
• Strong classroom management and adaptable delivery approach
• Ability to quickly build rapport with learners
