Working days and times:
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00

Learning Curve Group is a growing company that recently acquired MPCT to bring military academies to a total of 34 centres across England and Wales. We offer vocational qualifications, employability skills and careers in the British Armed Forces. The role of Military Training Instructor at LCG is to deliver outstanding teaching throughout the L2 qualification.

Essential Qualities
  • A genuine desire to transform lives through learning.
  • The ability to aspire and mentor young people and adults to achieve.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good administration and paperwork skills.
  • Appropriate classroom management skills.
Duties
  • Keep up to date with subject knowledge and deliver challenging lessons.
  • Attend annual training events to maintain industrial knowledge.
  • Use assessment to inform learners on how to improve.
  • Check learning systematically and provide timely support.
  • Deliver physical training using the bib system and Military Training Days.
  • Support the delivery of learner induction and maintain MIS records.
  • Comply with safeguarding, prevention, and health and safety policies.
  • Promote diversity and equal opportunities within the company.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a uniformed service (army, navy, air force).
  • Military or civilian physical training qualification.
Desirable
  • GCSE Maths & English qualification.
  • Knowledge of vocational qualifications or the education sector.
  • Teaching qualification or experience of teaching or instructing.
  • Experience of working with young people.
