ROLE OVERVIEW
Subject Lead for Aviation
This leadership role is ideal for an experienced aviation educator or industry professional with teaching experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing the Aviation curriculum
Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
Supporting and mentoring teaching staff
Driving student outcomes and engagement
Working collaboratively with senior leaders and external partners
Teacher of Aviation Operations
This role suits a qualified teacher or industry professional transitioning into education.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging Aviation Operations lessons
Teaching students across KS4 and KS5
Linking theory to real-world aviation practice
Supporting curriculum development and enrichment activities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Background in Aviation, Aviation Operations, or a related discipline
Teaching qualification or significant industry experience
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Passion for technical, vocational, and STEM education
Commitment to safeguarding and student development
