Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 3 & 4 (SEMH & Behaviour Support)
Location: Brent | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Do you have a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you confident in managing challenging behaviour and helping students build positive, lasting change? We’re looking for a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream secondary school in Brent, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the RoleIn this role, you’ll work closely with students who need additional emotional and behavioural support to succeed in school. From delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to helping manage classroom dynamics, you’ll play a crucial part in promoting a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment. You’ll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support strategies and guide students toward positive choices—both in and out of the classroom.
