Position: English Teacher (Permanent)
Permanent | Full-Time | Start ASAP or After February Half Term

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach English from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, delivering engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students across the ability range. You will play a key role in the school’s GCSE and A Level provision within a collaborative and well‑resourced department.

The school can accommodate a start as soon as possible, or after the February half term for the right candidate.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an English specialist who brings:

* PGCE and QTS (essential)

* Experience teaching English across KS3–KS5

* A strong track record of delivering top GCSE results

* Examiner experience (highly desirable)

* Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver ambitious, high-quality lessons

* Strong classroom management and a commitment to whole‑school involvement

* Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for student progress and achievement
