PE Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum that inspires students to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in raising attainment, supporting students' academic and personal development, and contributing positively to the wider life of the academy.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting student progress and achievement.
Act as a form tutor, monitoring student wellbeing, progress, and development.
Contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance, and departmental improvement.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning and engagement.  

What We Are Looking For :
 
QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.

Experience of teaching PE at secondary level, with strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and assessment practices.
Ability to motivate students, promote equality of access, and create a safe, positive learning environment.
Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team
