Overview

The English Department at Christ's College Finchley comprises a wonderful team of nine great teachers. Each team member is an expert in their subject and has the autonomy to exhibit their own unique teaching personality. The team shares a strong ethos for collaboration and conveying a passion for literature as a tool to evoke intellectual curiosity, spiritual growth, and academic excellence in each child.

The department has a track record of successful GCSE and A levels results, with the last A-level cohort attaining 100% of grades

A. Drama is a popular subject at Christ's College Finchley, with all pupils studying this subject at KS3 and many choosing Drama at GCSE level. The successful candidate will have a passion for the subject, the ability to inspire pupils, excellent subject knowledge, and a dynamic teaching style. The role also entails enhancing the extra-curricular activities offered. At Christ's College Finchley we value our staff by providing a positive school climate and a balanced, secure and healthy workplace where our teaching and support staff can flourish.
