About the role
We are looking to recruit a Lecturer (Teaching) for maternity cover to join the team supporting the MSc in Theoretical Psychoanalytic Studies. The role involves assessment, selection and interviewing, programme organization, teaching, dissertation supervision, and student mentoring, working with an international group of students who will at times need high levels of support.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% on site. The role requires the post holder to be on-site on Fridays and Saturdays during UCL term time.
The post is available as a maternity cover and is expected to be for 12 months.

Applicants should have membership or candidate status in the British Psychoanalytic Society, good and broad knowledge of psychoanalytic theory, and experience of teaching psychoanalytic theory.
The postholder will work with the core teaching team to recruit suitable students for the programme, develop course content, ensure high quality assessment and timely feedback, plan the timetable, and support thewider teaching team, which includes multiple guest lecturers most of whom also have many other commitments.
