Daily rate - £206-£237 per day, depending on experience

We are seeking a confident, nurturing, and experienced Reception Teacher to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, with an immediate start available.

You will be taking on a lovely Reception class, supported by a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Nurse, within a strong and collaborative EYFS team. As with many classes at this primary school, there is a range of SEND needs and a high level of disadvantage, so we are looking for a practitioner who is passionate about inclusive practice and confident in supporting children with diverse needs.

The Role:

This is a long-term position, running until the end of the school year. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out all the usual responsibilities of a class teacher, including:

Planning and delivering high-quality EYFS provision

Assessment and record keeping

Attending weekly CPD sessions on Tuesdays

Participation in parents' evenings and key school events

Working closely with support staff and the wider EYFS team

The EYFS team meets daily at 8:00am to plan and discuss the day ahead, therefore availability for these meetings is essential.

Strong knowledge and experience of EYFS practice

Confident supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs

Nurturing, calm, and resilient

Committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils

Able to work effectively as part of a team
