Overview
3x - 28 hours a week, 40 weeks a year (Term Time Only).
The role of Learning Coach is a rewarding one, as you will support and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs, a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition, and/or with ESOL, English and Maths support needs to enable them to successfully complete their qualifications, course and where appropriate, education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs, a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition, and/or with ESOL, English and Maths support needs to enable them to successfully complete their qualifications, course and where appropriate, education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Use initiative, organise and prioritise communicate well at all levels.
Maintain high quality written records of learner progress, set appropriate smart targets based on EHCP outcomes, agreed support plans and coursework.
Qualifications- Recent graduates or aspiring teachers (experience not essential)
- Demonstrate ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise, communicate well.
- Good administration and computer skills.
- GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A‑C in English and Mathematics (if not already held).
