Our client, a highly-regarded educational institution located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Camden Town, Greater London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Student Support Assistant (SEN) to join their dynamic team.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their academic and personal development is nurtured and empowered. Working closely with a diverse range of students, you will utilise your expertise to create and implement tailored learning strategies, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support and assistance to SEN students, addressing their unique learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop and implement effective learning strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adapt support plans as necessary
  • Facilitate inclusive activities and create a welcoming, nurturing environment
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to student support
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and the wider school community
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your SEN expertise
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Special Educational Needs, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Student Support Assistant (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficient in using assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of SEN students

Salary

This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of £90-£100, recognising the invaluable contributions you will make to our client's mission of providing exceptional educational experiences.
