Long Term Futures are seeking a proactive and reliable Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the Wandsworth area. You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping to maintain engagement, behaviour, and academic progress both in and out of the classroom. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with young people and gaining further experience in secondary education.

• Provide in-class support to pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN where required
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
• Deliver small-group interventions and targeted academic support
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an education or youth setting
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
• Confident, calm, and consistent approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
• Understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and secondary school expectations

• Complimentary CPD training, including Behaviour Support & SEND Awareness
• A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement
