Overview

Our client, a prestigious primary school located in Neasden, Greater London, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of an individual student, ensuring they receive the personalised attention and guidance they need to thrive.

• Work closely with the student, their teachers, and the wider school community to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one‑on‑one support, tailoring lesson plans and activities to the student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective strategies for academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Assist the student with various academic tasks, such as reading, writing, and problem‑solving.
• Support the student's social‑emotional growth, including building self‑confidence and fostering positive relationships.
• Maintain detailed records of the student's progress.
• Participate in regular meetings with teaching staff and parents to discuss the student's progress and address any concerns.
• Contribute to the overall wellbeing and success of the school community.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong educational background, with a relevant degree or diploma in education or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
• Demonstrated understanding of child development and the ability to tailor teaching methods to individual needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal growth of children.
• Proficiency in using technology, such as educational software and digital learning tools.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

£90‑100 per day.
