We are looking for a Teacher in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
  • Focus on planning, delivery and assessment of practical skills in the areas of fitting, milling and turning at Level 2 and Level 3.
What you’ll need
  • Experience in teaching CAD and mechanical engineering including maths and science.
  • Be enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
  • You must have a Level 3/4 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
  • Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 2 years of appointment, relevant assessment qualifications IQA/A1/V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
  • It would be of benefit if you held a Level 4 Teaching

    Qualification:

    Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education (desirable).
