Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor ready to step into the classroom and support students' learning? GSL Education London Branch are seeking dynamic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in some of the most outstanding secondary schools in East London.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and manage a classroom during teacher absences, ensuring a focused learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in line with school policies.
• Support students with tasks and activities, promoting engagement and participation.
• Maintain good behaviour and ensure the classroom remains orderly and safe.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on the progress of lessons and student behaviour.

Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role:

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching).
• A confident and professional approach to managing a classroom.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A degree qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
