Addey and Stanhope school is a very special school, for students and staff alike. I joined in 2020 and can say, that by far, it is the best school I’ve ever worked at. There is a level of trust, where you are allowed to be the professional you are. I’ve felt valued and supported every step of the way and consequently feel driven to give my best.

The school has an inspiring atmosphere of calm and learning which is VERY unusual in any school, let alone one in such a deprived area. I can speak with authority having visited around 130 schools a year as part of my role.

There is a definite sense of community at this school. Staff speak highly of the way leaders consider their workloads when making decisions. Teachers new to the profession feel very well supported, including with how to manage behaviour. Staff retention is high. OFSTED 2023

We are looking to recruit a passionate and forward-looking teacher to teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be joining a dynamic and motivated Languages Team to secure the highest standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all students.
