Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment? A thriving primary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated SEN 1 : 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately to support a pupil with behavioural needs.
The RoleYou will work closely with a KS2 pupil who requires consistent 1 : 1 support to help manage behaviour, maintain focus, and achieve learning goals. The role involves working alongside the class teacher, supporting social and emotional development, implementing behaviour strategies, and providing a structured environment that encourages positive engagement and progress.
The Ideal Candidate- Has previous experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEND.
- Remains calm, patient, and resilient under pressure.
- Can establish strong rapport and trust with pupils and staff.
- Uses positive behaviour management and restorative approaches.
- Holds relevant SEN or TA qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- A welcoming and inclusive school community.
- Ongoing professional development and training.
- Supportive leadership and experienced SEN team.
