Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a motivated and skilled operations assistant to join the Student Success team within the Education and Student Experience Directorate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about equal access to higher education and the power of education to drive social mobility.
As a Student Success Operations Assistant you will work at the centre of the team’s programme delivery, supporting colleagues who lead on core work strands:
Student Transition and Success, Student Engagement, University of Sanctuary, and Student Success Research and Evaluation. The role is responsive and multi‑faceted and will give the right candidate core experience in widening access and student success. It is suitable for those with experience as a Widening Participation Assistant, Student Transition and Outcomes Assistant, Education Operations Assistant, or Programme Administrator.
Actual £15,617 rising to £17,414 per year 0.5 FTE, (pro‑rated £31,234 rising to £34,827 per year FTE). Grade 4 on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.
