• ASD Teaching Assistant required for a SEN School in Tower Hamlets
• ASD Teaching Assistant required to support students on a 1:1 basis with ASD

We are looking for an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to join an academically progressive Special Needs School ASAP until the end of the academic year with a possible permanent placement. You will have at least 1 year’s experience working with students on the Autistic Spectrum and have experience helping with personal care. For this ASD Teaching Assistant TA role you will also need previous experience using PECs and Makaton is desirable but not essential, Physical Restraint Training/ Team-teach is also desirable.

This Special Needs School is located in the Inner London borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a Secondary SEN School catering to 90 students aged between 11-19 with ASD and Complex Needs. The School is based very close to a train station, making it very easily accessible via public transport links.
