VNA Education is working with a high-performing secondary school to appoint an inspiring Head of Drama to lead and further develop a successful KS3 and KS4 provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Drama specialist to take full ownership of curriculum design, teaching quality and student outcomes, while championing the creative arts within a wider school community.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Drama
• Lead curriculum planning, delivery and assessment at KS3 and KS4
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and performance outcomes
• Use data and evaluation to secure progress for all learners
• Lead, support and develop colleagues through coaching and modelling best practice
• Promote Drama's contribution to student confidence, creativity and cultural capital

• Qualified teacher (QTS) with strong subject expertise in Drama
• Proven or emerging subject leadership experience
• Deep understanding of curriculum, assessment and creative pedagogy
• Confident, engaging leader with strong professional presence
• Passionate about inclusive practice, enrichment and student voice
• Clear commitment to safeguarding and high expectations
