  • Supporting pupils through individual education and behaviour plans
  • Assessing pupils with short‑ and long‑term learning difficulties
  • Liaising with external professionals such as social workers, therapists and educational psychologists
Requirements
  • Experience working with SEMH, EBD/SEBD, ASD or mental health needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills (Team Teach or MAPA desirable)
  • Experience working within a SEN or alternative provision setting
  • Experience supporting or teaching primary or secondary‑aged pupils
  • The ability to cover or support a range of subjects
  • A current Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service
  • A calm, resilient and empathetic approach
What the School Offers
  • A committed, supportive and enthusiastic staff team
  • High‑quality professional development opportunities
  • A positive, purposeful and inclusive learning environment
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils’ lives
  • A full‑time, long‑term role with the potential to become permanent

This is a highly rewarding role that offers valuable experience and would be an excellent addition to your CV if you are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
