Science Teacher – Blackheath
Full-Time | Temporary (ASAP – April 2026, with potential to extend)
A secondary school in the Blackheath area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role is available immediately and will run until April 2026, with the possibility of continuation.
Role- Teaching KS3 and GCSE Science classes
- Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
- Monitoring pupil progress and supporting student attainment
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
- Recent experience teaching Science
- Relevant teaching qualification with QTS
- Proven experience teaching KS3 & GCSE
- Current Enhanced DBS
- Availability to start ASAP
- Be dynamic, motivated, and passionate about science education
- Inspire and engage learners of all abilities
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Show commitment to continuous professional development
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills
- Maintain a professional approach at all times
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Science Teacher looking for a long-term, stable role in a supportive school environment.
