Full-Time | Temporary (ASAP – April 2026, with potential to extend)

A secondary school in the Blackheath area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role is available immediately and will run until April 2026, with the possibility of continuation.

• Teaching KS3 and GCSE Science classes
• Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
• Monitoring pupil progress and supporting student attainment
• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental responsibilities
• Working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents

• Recent experience teaching Science
• Relevant teaching qualification with QTS
• Proven experience teaching KS3 & GCSE
• Current Enhanced DBS
• Availability to start ASAP

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Show commitment to continuous professional development
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills
• Maintain a professional approach at all times
