About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

Provide support to class teachers across a range of subjects

Short term or long term roles
Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost progress

Support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Deliver tailored interventions to meet a variety of learning needs

Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

We are looking for graduates who:

Have a strong academic background

Are enthusiastic about education and passionate about working with children

Are proactive, reliable, and excellent communicators

Can build strong relationships with staff and pupils

Have experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) - desirable but not essential
