Job Type: 10 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks per year), Permanent

Working Hours:

12:15pm - 2:15pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a part time Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to supervise students and to uphold the school's behaviour code and framework.

You will:

Supervise and monitor students across the site during lunch time, ensuring timely transition to lessons
Understand and implement the school's Behaviour Policy issuing rewards and sanctions as appropriate
Support staff in implementing a restorative approach in promoting positive behaviour for learning
Carry out First Aid duties (training will be provided)
Support student prefects and ambassadors in carrying out their roles

About you:

You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths
You'll need previous experience of working with children and young people
You should also have a commitment to the school's Equal Opportunities Policy
Experience in a secondary school or youth work setting is desirable
