A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Brent is seeking a passionate educator to join their science department from 23 February 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, inspiring students to develop a genuine curiosity for science and achieve their full potential. The Role

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Teach and inspire students across KS3, KS4 and KS5

• Assess, track and support student progress effectively

• Contribute to the wider life of the school and the science department

• Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (including A-level, ideally)

• Is passionate about science and student success

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills

• Works well as part of a team and embraces professional development
